To go and fight and die.
To free another country.
To send our men, and women to die?
Some to young to vote.
To lay down for them. Why?
We are never asked if we want to go.
Or even if we need to go.
Will this be the same as the other?
Where our sons, and brothers
Do not come home, like all those others?
Will there be unanswered questions?
All over again.
Yes, the people are suffering.
Yes, they are dying.
My mind and my heart cries out in their pain.
But my soul say's, Oh God not again.
And my question is,
What is our Leader thnking?
What will he do?
Shouldn't we have a say?
Me and you?
And again, I must say loud and clear,
Will they come home again?
Their face's black and blue.
That could be me or you.
Will they also be left there alone?
Never to see their home?
Names added to that black book.
Our book of shame.
And if others go, it will be the same.
My anger is so profound.
I don't know what to do.
I can only pray, we don't we forget those names.
At least I pray at night for those boys.
And the other's who might go.
These are lives you see, they are not his toys.
Why, will he ask us, to do, what he wouldn't?
Or, what he couldn't?
Let's not add that name to our history.
For the other's to read in year's to come.
No more tears for wife's to shed.
Because their husband is dead.
Or, years of waiting and not knowing.
Of children growing,
Not remembering Dad.
I must again raise my voice and shout.
At least not by me.
We must get them home.
And soon, you see.
As time passes by, and our life go's on.
It's so easy to forget.
These names are burned in my memory.
And now is there to be a new name?
Those called POW.
Lets not forget them.
SSGT Andrew Ramierez
SSGT Christopher Stone

Who declared war?
So, I say lets all pray.
For this to end.
Not another war to begin.
God bless you boys.
So very far away.
You'r not forgotton here at home.
My last thing to say.
These are the Worlds Children.
Please never let it be our children.
